I studied photography in Glasgow, back in 1998, when it was all still film based photography and darkrooms. I have always been passionate about the art and wanted to incorporate it with another passion, which was medical science, so I went on to study Medical Illustration BSc at University. In 2003 I graduated and practiced Medical Illustration for a few years, specialising in Ophthalmic Imaging. During my career as a Medical Illustrator I would always find myself drawn to Scottish Landscape Photography and knew that that's what I really wanted to do. To capture the beauty of the Scottish mountains, rivers, lochs, wildlife and nature, so that people can see the beauty of our landscapes through my eyes.

Prints

All prints are produced and delivered by Picfair. Giclée art prints will be printed via inkjet onto Matte Ultra 240gsm paper in a choice of Lustre Photo or Smooth Art finishes. Canvas wraps are printed on high-quality artist stock, then stretched and wrapped around timber frames. Canvas wraps will be offered with a choice of black or white wrapped edges.
